What is "Gunita"?
The word “gunita” means memory, reminiscence, at pag-alala. We chose the name “Project Gunita” because one of our objectives is to help Filipino children better retain and recollect the lessons they learn in school or at home.
Project Gunita was also meant to be a learning aid for children who were raised during the COVID-19 pandemic, where they were only familiar with digital classrooms and learning lessons through Zoom, to help them transition to traditional learning methods while still having a familiar way of learning through supplemental video-based materials.
